Our motorhome had a blowout in 105 degree heat. The roadside provided by our insurance company let us sit on the side of the road for over 8 hours, looking for a provider. We were there for so long, we had to shut off the engine so we wouldn’t run out of gas. Apparently they didn’t call American Eagle Towing, because once we called you, you were there in 25 minutes, and had our tire changed in no time! Then we learned we had drained our battery, and your driver jumpstarted our coach in just a few minutes. The bill was very reasonable. Thanks so much for getting us off the side of the road in the heat, when others wouldn’t come.

We were traveling through Oklahoma on the way from Chicago to Phoenix, and had a blowout late at night. Your driver (Bryan) found us on the turnpike quickly, towed our car to a Walmart that would replace our tire at 7:30am, and even reserved us a room at a great price while we were on the way. He even dropped us off at the hotel after dropping off the car. If this is what Oklahomans are like, then Oklahoma must be a great place to live.

I was very pleased with American Eagle Towing. The attention to detail was excellent. Bryan noticed that the back window in my motorhome was not latched properly, so he removed the window and put it inside saving me an expensive replacement. I was out of state at the time and Bryan stayed in contact with me until delivery. The price was very fair and the service exceptional. I will call Bryan again immediately when I need a vehicle moved. Thanks, Bryan!!

Comments: I do not know where to begin. On Monday, June 14, 2010, two of my daughters and I began our trip back to Minnesota after celebrating my grandson's first birthday in Norman. After driving in torrential rain for about 35 minutes, I could drive no longer and told my girls I would take the next exit and we would sit the storm out. Unbeknownst to me, the exit was a "valley" exit and, being unable to see because of the unprecedented downpouring of rain, we suddenly hit a brick wall of water which soon engulfed our car. We were able to escape from the car and move to higher ground. We endured the pelting rain for about 30 minutes -- but at least it was CLEAN water, not the filthy water that was ruining my car. American Eagle Towing rescued us, took us to a nearby motel, and promised to get my car out after the rain ended. (The driver in the morning, I believe, was named Johnny. He was in the white truck.) Later that day, another driver (and I apologize that I do not recall his name) met us at the site and helped us retrieve our belongings. Patient, and with good advice, he helped us through a very emotional time. Since returning to Minnesota, we have spoken often of the "nice tow truck drivers," and I only wish I lived in Oklahoma so I could promote your company there. THANK YOU for rescuing us and for the professional handling of my totaled car. We are forever grateful.

They got me home for Christmas
I got away from work early on Christmas Eve, but it wasn't early enough. I found myself stuck in a snow drift on Lake Hefner Parkway along with about 50 or 60 other vehicles. Many of us had already tried to dig ourselves out to no avail. I'd already gone through the phone book trying to find a wrecker, but everyone was so busy I couldn't get anyone to commit to help me. One of American Eagle's flatbed trucks managed to plow his way through the snow drifts to the front of the pack. I was afraid he was just going to leave, but he stopped when we waved him down. He used his truck to blaze a trail for all of us to the Britton Road exit, then backed down that same trail to come free all of us. This man worked for hours in the middle of a blizzard and winched out every single car on the Parkway. He even winched out a few stuck police cars. The charge was very reasonable, and he was obviously very good at what he was doing. He had to work for 20 minutes with a shovel just to get to where he could hook up his cable to my car. I was stuck for almost 4 hours, and if it weren't for this guy, I'd have been stranded all night. I tipped him well, and will keep the card he gave me for when I need a wrecker under less dramatic circumstances. Thanks for getting me home in time for Christmas, and for getting my car out with zero damage. I wish I'd gotten your name.
